Brendon Hill crafts

Preserves Illustrations and Paintings

Formed over 20 years ago as a small cottage industry on the Brendon Hills, this preserve making business continues to thrive with the second generation at the helm, and is now located on the western edge of Exmoor, In Barnstaple, Devon. Specialising in the production of high quality preserves, made using traditional kitchen recipes, we use generous measures of fruit (locally grown where possible) and very small batches, to ensure that flavours and colours are maximised.
From a modest start in 1983, production has now grown to over 65,000 jars of jams, marmalades, jellies, chutneys and sauces each year.
We take great care with all stages of production and ensure that the packaging and presentation of all our jars result in a perfect gift to give or receive.

Our founders, David & Liz Jessup, continue the craft side of the business, producing hand-made cards, butterflies, printed note cards, and paintings.
